Notes for this category
ASTM F404-21 via 16 CFR 1231. Phthalates (16 CFR 1307) apply because a product designed to facilitate feeding of children 3 and younger is a 'child care article' under 16 CFR 1307.2(b); CPSC's Feb 2009 guidance gives a sippy cup as an example. Durable infant or toddler product: also needs a product registration card (16 CFR 1130) and tracking labels; neither is a lab test, so they are not listed as rules here.
Other requirements (not certificate tests)
- Product registration card (16 CFR 1130)
- Tracking label (CPSIA section 103) on product and packaging
Next: build the certificate and get your three Registry IDs
CertPrepy turns your lab report into a CPC, checks it against the Registry's rules, and gives your broker the Certifier ID, Product ID and Version ID.
