Scope
Third-party testing list: Juvenile booster seats used on adult chairs to raise a child to table height, per ASTM F2640-18. Motor vehicle booster seats are not covered (they fall under NHTSA rules).
Certificate and testing
- The rule is not on CPSC's list of rules requiring a General Certificate of Conformity.
- Third-party testing by a CPSC-accepted lab applies for children's products, with a Children's Product Certificate.
